Norway is one of the main characters in the comics and definitely the richest of them all. He is a calm, caring and nature loving fellow, often seen with a fish either in his hands, on his head or on a plate with salty potatoes. Denmark and Sweden are his two best friends, despite the fact that they suppressed him for decades. He seems to have very a close friendship with Denmark. He also has the ability to speak with animals, which is pretty handy when you live so close to nature.
Svalbard, one of the three badasses, is Norway's twin brother. Svalbard's polar bears are the only animals Norway has failed to befriend, which makes him pretty depressed. He has more than once tried to tame the wild beasts, which often upsets Drama Bear. Norway is also related to Jan Mayen, but we don't speak about the dark side.
The wealth Norway has gained through oil has made him a little snobby, but suddenly having a lot of money often does that to you. The oil and the fish is the reason he is one of the few European countries that stands up against King Europe, which is why King Europe is all crazy about him. But Norway is determined to live independently, at least while he has the support and money.
Norway cares a lot about Denmark. He often has to deal with the things Denmark finds scary (which is more or less everything). He has gotten used to Denmark being clingy. He has also gotten used to the arguing between Sweden and Denmark. He sort of stands a few feet away, eats some fish and makes sure no one gets hurt. Norway rarely gets involved in the disputes, which makes him a pretty good at arbitrating between countries (much unlike America).

Malta first appeared in Eurovision 2013, where it was represented by a Maltese puppy holding the flag. It is currently unknown if that is Malta's true form.
Moldova is a young character in SatW. He has only been seen in The Winner Is *Drum Roll Plz* He has also been in the 2017 eurovision comic.
Italy is an European character who appears to be somewhat of a womanizer. He has dark slicked-back hair and, in his more realistic depiction, and wears a jacket bearing the colours of the Italian flag with gold sleeve buttons over a white collared button-up shirt and khaki pants, accessorized with a gold necklace and a belt with a gold buckle. From this it can be assumed that he is fond of "bling".
As stated previously, he seems to be a womanizer; in his first appearance, Axis Powers after the War, he looks towards the viewer with a flirty expression (in contrast to Japan, who sports a pair of panties on his head, and the apologetic Germany), while in Iron Lady, he unsuccessfully tried to seduce Sister Germany.
He is also known to be arrogant at times, with one instance being shown in Your time is up, where he refused to give up his turn as "leader of the week".
For some reason, his skin tone has changed several times over the course of the comic. In his first two appearances, he was as pale as most of the other Europeans; however, in Nothing is Perfect, he appeared to have gotten a tan. In his next appearance, Iron Lady, he was paler again. In his next two appearances he was once again tan, until his most recent appearance in Eurovision 2013.
He may have been inside the performers' cage in Eurovision 2014, as there is somebody saying "Ciao!" inside.

Ireland is a fiery, sardonic man with rust-orange hair and freckles splashed on his face. He was first portrayed in English Flag alongside Scotland. Ireland enjoys drinking with his friends and Eurovision.
In the British Isle mini book, Ireland is revealed to have an identical twin brother; Northern Ireland is identical to Ireland in appearances, but their personalities are so different they can be considered as polar opposites. Due to their contrasting personalities, Ireland and Northern Ireland bicker quite often, even if they agree on something.

Like how other countries stay true to their name, Sister Iceland is nothing other than the sibling to Iceland himself . With her brother being the main representative of their country, she makes less appearances. Comics including her are often when the comic has a female theme (although he may appear anyways, just dressed in drag).

When she was introduced, she was made in a similar formula to her brother, involving sports and beauty. Like him, she has sparkles, sunglasses, a sleeveless top, and bright hair. However, her hair is straighter and slightly spills over the left side of her head, and has darker pants.
In her limited appearances, she doesn't speak nearly as much as her brother and is less expressive, often only becoming active when others are around her, such as sisters Denmark and Norway. She's commonly exposed to themes of sexuality, such as from Romania and Sister Sweden, and usually expresses a distaste to it, giving her an innocent demeanor as opposed to her brother's more extreme, sporty personality.
Since Icelandic Cookbook, her character was changed. Her hair is now "poofier" and round like Iceland's, and has a new personality, although this may only be for when she's alone with her brother.

Iceland is one of the main charachters in Scandinavia and the World, and is one of the Nordic countries (although he is not a part of Scandinavia, although he is often considered to be by outsiders and has a strong nordic culture. No Invitation).
==Personality==
Iceland is considered to be quite tough, as he enjoys adventure sports and can thrive in much higher and lower temperatures than the rest of the Nordics. He treats demons and lava like his pets and is not afraid of the obvious threats that they pose, much to the horror of Denmark and sometimes Norway. He is also shown to be obsessed with physical fitness and his own apperance, as he goes for a morning run and often looks in the mirror to admire his sparkles.
He is very friendly most of the time, but displays occasional flashes of temper, during which he may go so far as to involve trucks and volcanoes to express his displeasure (Just a game). Aptly described as “a genuinely nice guy who hides a rather disturbing mind”, he is often left out of events or forgotten, due either to his isolation, or his sometimes unorthodox interests.
His traditional food includes fermented, poisonous sharks, sheep testicles, and a sheep's head (Sviðakjammi). This could be considered to add to his eccentric or tough nature, or quite possibly both.
==Physical Apperance==
Iceland is quite vain (although he is fairly pleasant about it in company), and he has been described as "clasically handsome" by Norway and Denmark. He is known for his sparkles, which he is almost always seen with, and for his ski goggles.
He is shown to have white-blonde hair and to be taller and much fitter than the other Nordics, although he is not as strong as America or Scotland.

Iceland has a sister, Sister Iceland, who he has a good relationship with. He considers his sister to be beautiful, although this may also be a reflection on his own vanity.
He once had two children, Vinland and Original Settlers on Greenland,

although both are now deceased. He seems to have gotten over his loss, and it is even hinted by Iceland himself that he may have murdered them, though whether he is serious is not currently known.
He is sometimes shown as Norway's baby brother; Norway apparently took care of him starting when he was a baby, but in more recent years, Iceland has put his foot down regarding his financial independence.
===Other Nordic Nations===
Iceland is shown to be slightly disdainful of Finland, often being the only one who is brave enough to stand up to him, although they both happily take part in the Nordic Council.
He was not satisfied with the results of the 2009 Eurovision contest, believing that he should have won instead of Norway, since he claims that his song was more artistic.

*He often gets the brunt of Denmark's and Netherlands' obsession with bicycles.
*He is not a member of the EU, although he sometimes shows an interest in joining
*Iceland's sparkles can be contained in a box. This could mean that his sparkles are not naturally created by his beauty, and are just something he applies on himself

Hungary is a country that has brown and spiky hair with a impressive mustache. He is grateful to the others when they help him around. Especially,after his Revolution,his refugees were taken care by Scandinavian countries. In return,he wanted to work hard for them as a pay back. Unfortunately it made the other workers look bad, so it had to be explained to them that they had to rest more and relax a bit.
He is a minor character that appears in All Work and No Play comic

Lithuania is a female character who has so far only made one appearance on the SatW comics. She appeared in the comic "Party Crasher" alongside Latvia and Estonia. Lithuania has long medium-brown hair with a fringe cut. Lithuania, like Latvia, is seen with a blank expression on her face, somewhat similar to Finland's..
Her Brother appeared in Eurovision 2017
“What's the matter, Estonia? Simply being Baltic isn't good enough for you now?”
One of the three Baltic sisters. She is close with both sisters, but has more in common with Lithuania than she does with Estonia.
In some ways she is luckier than sister Estonia - No Flag for You.
Estonia is a Baltic country who wishes to be part of the Nordic countries. She tries to invite herself to their parties but they never accept her. She has a good relationship with Finland and knows what vodka he likes but he still does not view her as a Nordic Country.
Despite having God's favor she is unlucky as she had two gifts (special red and white "winner flags") from him stolen from her (once by Denmark, and once by fellow Baltic Latvia) in comic, No Flag for You. Despite normally wearing her horizontal tri-colored flag, she sometimes tries to infiltrate the Nordics using a blue flag with a white cross similar to the ones they wear.
One reason that she is insistent on joining the Nordics is that she thinks the male representations of the countries are attractive. She is the most succesful among Baltic sisters (she can afford having a hat), what makes her more confident about being Nordic.

Greenland is a male character introduced in We Should Be Friends where he is seen claiming that Denmark ruined his life. He is a former roommate of Denmark, and is still financially dependent on him.
Appearance:
Greenland is depicted as a Greenlandic Inuit, and has short black hair, olive skin and small eyes. He wears the Greenland flag and black trousers with white shoes.
His personality shown in the Scandinavia and the World comics:
Greenland is seen as being quick tempered and sometimes violent towards Denmark. In The Scariest Ghost Ever it is shown that he is also superstitious and to have plenty of “helping ghosts” as he attempted to banish The Beer Ghost but is quickly scared off. Like his neighbour Faroes Islands he is an avid whale hunter. This is also shown in deleted comic shown here.
Relationships:
Denmark:
Denmark is shown to consistently push Greenland around, thus possibly leading to Greenland being openly hostile towards him. This is shown throughout the comics where Greenland will attack Denmark in a given opportunity like in We Should Be Friends and Eurovision Winners.
Greenland is shown to have good relationships or at the very least civil relationships with his neighbouring countries. In I Want Oil he is shown contemplating oil with Canada and in Moby is a Dick with Svalbard and Faroes bonding over whale hunting.

Greece is a minor character in the comics, despite being such an influential nation from history.
Like many other nations, he likes to drink, as well as compete in Eurovision. At one point when he was low on money, he tried to blackmail Germany into giving him money in compensation for all the treasure and priceless arts that Nazi Germany stole from him during World War II. When this failed (as Germany had already paid him back as best he could), he demanded that he at least be given a "thank you" for the stolen goods, to which Nazi Germany vehemently refused.
He seems to be the only country aware of the existence of Atlantis.

Appearance:
Brother Germany is a normal-looking man with messed-up brown hair and a mustache. He shares this feature with Sister Germany, but she has huge breasts that make-up for this appearance. She weares her brown hair in an updo. Sister Germany is not seen very often but has a strong female pride that should be feared by macho and everyone standing in her way.
Personality:
Brother Germany lives in constant fear of being accused for the actions of Nazi Germany. Therefore he is very insecure and tries to be everybody’s darling to prevent the other countries from getting angry at him.
He is so extremely anti-patriotic that he even frowns at the sight of his own flag-t-shirt and any reference to Nazi-Germany.
Even though he carries around a sausage all the time, he is not openly into homosexuality but due to his submissive character he often gets harassed by Denmark and The Netherlands, most of the time to arouse Fan Girl Sister Japan, whom he happens to have feelings for.
He often visits Denmarks beaches to dig some holes and also shares his love of alcohol with its northern neighbor, especially for beer. Another reason why Denmark visits him so often.

Living in Central Europe, is neighbors are Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Austria, Czech and Poland
His relations to his antecedents Prussia and Nazi-Germany are very troubled. Seeing dogs making Nazi salutes may result in a BSOD.
