I guess we’re all in the same Viking Longship when it comes to those ‘can you believe that was then and this is now?’ moments, but seriously I cannot believe that a year ago to the day we were on a very successful tour of the States, my girlfriend Eva had flown in from Spain to join me for the week and we were both thoroughly enjoying a day off at the Universal theme park in Orlando, Florida, accompanied by dodgy NY TV cops ‘Mangoo and ‘Tache’ aka Dougal and Richard. What a truly unforgettable experience that was, making one appreciate these moments in time all the more now we’re shackled in isolated quarantine (though you wouldn’t believe it judging by all the traffic hissing past my windows this afternoon.... ).

Just a hobo hanging out the washing to dry this Easter weekend! Total socks appeal!

I finally succumbed to the idea of playing bloody Monopoly, hounded relentlessly as I was by an alcoholic Kiwi bird, a cuntish pirate and a morose Cthulhu plush. Easter at home in isolation hasn’t gotten to me one little bit! 👍🏻

Feeling all NYHC today washing the car and tidying up the garden. Listening to a spat of Cro-Mags, Bold, Crumbsuckers, Agnostic Front, Madball and Sick Of It All. Don’t read into it too much pop-pickers, though I am back in the studio tomorrow!

Due to the horrid pandemic roiling all around us, most people have been hit hard financially by the ongoing ‘lockdown’ scenario and none more close to the collective Cradle family’s hearts than the legendary CREWDLE OF FILTH, who sit in limbo with fiends and families of their own to support in these difficult times. .
With this in mind, I felt it incumbent upon me to reach out to all of our fans to try and help the crew in any little way possible to survive this crisis. The touring industry is built of self-employed workers, they are with us day-in, day-out making the shows happen and with no concerts or tours happening for quite some while, well… .

Reflecting on the thorny issue of it being the weekend already. Already! And besieged by so many options of places to go! 😷
