We had to apply for a refund and change the itinerary. We are now informed by the booking website China Qunar website that AirAsia is forcing passengers to accept its BIG points or time-limited flight changes to replace the refund. The Qunar booking websit only informed us there will be no payment refund and passengers have been forced to accept other terms. We here recommend that everyone who is in the same situation as us will not accept it! We insist on not accepting any vouchers or points or changing time-limited flight to replace payment refund. It is because the global covid-19 will not be clear for a short period of time and it is not sure when the Philippines gov. will offer visas to allow entry or not. We also have repeatedly contacted Qunar booking website and it only said that everything is based on the airline AirAsia. AirAsia has no positive response to our appeal as well so far. Therefore, we will appeal to the Consumer Protection Bureau for any comment to this case ASAP.
