Long shot but jist of it is this...
G1 got knocked about quite badly, didnt boot full stop but was able to get fastboot working fine, flashed the official ADP image to it using "fastboot update <insert filename>"
Now it boots but seems that the sdcard reader in the phone is dead as a door nail.
Basically wondering if theres anyway to flash custom roms using fastboot at all? Tried using the same method as with the ADP images but seems the zips just dont work, couple of pointless txt files missing, created these and aded them to the custom roms zip, but the custom roms dont use system.img format that fastboot needs =/
Any ideas? I literally dont use the phone for pictures, music or anything needing an sd card, but do need to use things that need root, and nothing that requires root seems to work with the ADP image so.....
