Watson的哭泣声
My dear Watson, I write these few lines for the courtesy(礼貌)of Professor Moriarty, who awaits my convenience for the final discussion of those questions which lie between us. I am pleased to think that I shall be able to free society from any further effects of his presence, though I fear that it is at a cost which will give pain to my friends, and especially, my dear Watson, to you. Pray give my greetings to Mrs. Watson,[插入Watson哭泣] and believe me to be, my dear fellow, Very sincerely yours, Sherlock Holmes.
Holmes, Holmes!
Watson!
Holmes.
Dr.Watson!
Holmes!
Dr.Watson.
What?
Dr.Watson?
Eh, eh…
Dr.Watson?
Eh, eh…
Are you awake?
Eh, eh, eh…Holmes…Oh! My God! How could I fall asleep?!
It’s perfectly understandable. You were exhausted.
Has the bit in change?(这句没听清楚,如果我没错的话意思是【点滴是不是要换了?】)
Dr.Vendel thinks you should go in.
Very well, the end came at last, Hum.(貌似是这样的,这句好含糊)
Doctor, I’m sorry.
Thank you.
The Empty House by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.片头介绍不记录了,反正就是演员和工作人员名单。
Mary?Can you hear me?
Oh, Dr. Vendel? (Mary咳嗽声)
No,my love, it’s me. It’s John.
John?
Yes, Mary. I’m here.
Oh, John. Are you all right?
I’m fine. And soon…soon you will be too.
I don’t think so.(Mary咳嗽)
My dear.
That’s what you said to me then.
When?
In Mr.Sherlock’s garden, I was frightened you took my hand.(Mary咳嗽继续)
John?
I’m here.
My hand was warm then, wasn’t it?
It’s all right, my love. Everything’s all right.
Oh, my poor John, first Mr. Holmes, and now me.
Mary!
Every one you love… hardly seems fair. I’m so sorry. Oh…(Mary过世)
To be taken so young, it’s no justice in the world, doctor.
No, Mrs.Hudson. No justice. It was good for you to come.
A sad reason it was to meet again though.
Indeed. I should have called to see you. How have you been?
Well, I can’t pretend the time hasn’t hung heavy. They said the year has passed fast to get out of these last three years. You seem more like thirty.
Yeah, I know what you mean.
Look at me, keeping you from talking to everyone else you came, off you go now.
Very well, thank you again.
Doctor, and please remember you are always welcome at Baker Street.
You are very kind, Mrs.Hudson. But…well…
Too many memories?
I’m afraid so, too many memories.
