当每个人都在说同样一件事情的时候，你就会感觉到很是无趣，但是你要做的就是做你该做的。我们仍然有占据先机的机会，我相信切尔西方面同样是这么想的。我们现在唯一能做的就是各自打好自己的比赛。
如果我们能够在比赛的前一个小时之内就占据先机，哪怕这只能让切尔西方面的压力增加百分之一，这就已经值回票价了。我们必须得赢。
今天实在会是有趣的一天，如果切尔西早早的就进球，那么比赛可能会过早的失去意义，但是只要我们还在场上，就会一直为赢球而努力。

With the injuries to Owen and Wayne Rooney, Ferguson thinks his side have "lacked penetration" in the run-in and that ultimately the inability to score in games like the draw with Blackburn at Ewood Park last month has cost them.
"It's nice to hear the manager talking about like that. I was really pleased with the season as a whole. There have been some great highlights. But in saying that I wanted to be fit for these last few games, that has been the frustrating bit. I think I was fit for 43 of the first 44 games. I only missed Sunderland at home with a bit of a tight groin.
"I thought everything was going great but whether it was the Wembley pitch or whatever, it unfortunately ended my season. I suppose if it was just me I wouldn't be thinking anything of it but there have been a few injuries. I remember England played on it a few days later and there were another few with muscle problems. It's frustrating, obviously."
The hamstring problem was not straightforward but Owen's recuperation is going to plan. "It was a difficult one," Ferguson said of the injury. "The ligament came off the bone so it has to take time but he'll start in pre-season." Owen had a positive meeting with his surgeon in London two weeks ago and is optimistic that he will be back for the first day that the squad get together in mid-July.
"I am making really good progress. So far so good but I obviously don't want to get carried away. The faster you go the greater the risk so towards the end of the rehab it might get a little bit more risky but so far the surgeon is more than happy with it, I'm more than happy with it. It feels good," he said.
"You certainly know your body better as you get older. You learn from your mistakes, too. I couldn't have envisaged what happened but some things you do have control over. You wake up feeling something and you know not to risk it.
"My experience also helps because you are able to talk to people and be more assertive. If I'd come to United as a 20 year-old I'd probably be nervous, thinking I have to train every day, always be available. If a player comes in saying they felt this or they are worried about that there is no problem missing a day's training. Knowing your body better and being at a club that listens to you: it's a great combination."
Owen would love to be involved against Stoke. He says he "has never come closer to winning a title medal" but will have to simply watch and hope. If Chelsea do not slip up, however, Owen feels United's season must be classed as a disappointment.
"We won the Carling Cup but felt we should have got further in the Champions League and we're second in the league, so to finish the season with just the Carling Cup, when we have had a good season, well, you feel a little bit empty-handed," he said.
"One final push and we'll see where it takes us but we will feel empty-handed if we have just one trophy to show for it."
