JYPE invited Wonderfuls all over the world to be a part of the Wonder Girls newest album ‘2 Different Tears’ launch event party which was broadcasted live from LA, USA on May 15, 2010 (17.30 PM- 19.00 PM) which is on May 16, 2010 (7.30 am-09.00 am Thailand time)
For the event in Thailand, i-works entertainment, MCOT, GenXacademy and radio ok invited all Thai Wonderfuls to watch the streaming live together via mcot.net.
The event started at 08.00 am. 2PM Nichkhun’s brother, Nichan Horvejkul, was the MC for this event. After the Wonder Girls officially revealed their MV, they greeted their fans in 5 languages. Yeeun-English, Sunye-Korean, Lim-Chinese, Yubin-Japanese and what made all Thai Wonderfuls gone wild was that Sohee greeted in Thai! She said ‘Hello. We’re the Wonder Girls. Love you (kiss)’ (Sawasdee Ka. Wonder Girls Ka. Rak Na Joob Joob)
When the girls was asked on what would their next schedule would be. The girls replied “We’re going to China soon and then we’ll go to South East Asia and we’re going to have the U.S. Tour as well.” The Wonder Girls also revealed their American idols “Madonna is our fashion icon. Our favorite singers are Beyonce and Lady Gaga” Sunye also sang and danced a little to Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi.
After interviewing, Wonder Girls performed to ‘Tell Me’, ‘So Hot’, and ‘Nobody’ medley.
Even after the live webchat ended, the event in Thailand was still going on. The fans who attended this event had a chance to win the Wonder Girls’ posters, Wonder Girls upcoming album and 2PM autographed CD which was brought straight from Korea by Nichkhun’s mother.
At last, the Thai Wonderfuls celebrated Sunmi and Yeeun’s Birthday with a huge pound of cake together.
