Snowball was unaware that he has got Napoleon’s attention, he continues to fool around with his friends, sleeping over, and getting drunk. One day he met this boar, Ice-cream. Ice-cream agrees with Snowball that Napoleon is manipulating the animals. Snowball was pleased to hear that someone agrees with him, especially if it’s a pig!
They became good friends and would spend every other day together whenever possible.
One day when Snowball finished drinking with his friends, he went back to his hut with Ice-cream by his side. Once Ice-cream put him down, Ice-cream took out an axe and attempts to chop Snowball’s head off. Suddenly, Snowball leaps up and blunts Ice-cream in his stomach with his head. Ice-cream falls back and faints. Snowball then took up the axe and kills Ice-cream.
Snowball calls his friends and followers for a meeting, he then declares war on Animal Farm. After what the animals heard from the attempted assassination, they agree to engage in war with Animal Farm. “We must release our comrades from Napoleon’s dictatorship. All animals are equal!” Snowball says. After the meeting, Napoleon and Bubble, a goat, decided to land a surprise attack on Animal Farm three days later.


Three days later, five horses, seven dogs, three cows, a herd of sheep, fifteen chickens, the goat, and three pigs including Snowball himself, are waiting patiently for Borroh, the black pigeon. Napoleon sent him a day earlier, hoping for him to bring back news from Animal Farm. At last, half-past-seven, Borroh swiftly lands on a tree birch near Napoleon and reported that the animals in the farm are still working, while Napoleon and the pigs are holding a party inside Mr. Jones’ house. “This is our chance comrade, we will take over Animal Farm and release our comrades from slavery!” Snowball exclaimed. He then led the animals toward the front gate and ordered Berry, a strong male horse, to kick the gate open. They all went in the farm, except Borroh, who explained that he was tired and needed a rest outside.
Snowball leads the attack, first he ordered the horses to charge at the house, damaging every window and every door. As soon as the windows were smashed open, the chickens came flying in, causing a ruckus. No animal other than the pigs were aware of this attack, they were busy working in the farms. Even if they heard the commotion and wanted to see what was going on, they were afraid to get whipped by the pigs. Napoleon was stunned, he was singing on the couch when the horses and others charged in. Bluffy, who was Snowball’s helper, went to the fields and told the animals what was happening, the animals want a change, they immediately left their post and join the attack. Napoleon and his followers, greatly outnumbered, try to run away. Buffalo, the huge black horse lifted his hoof and kicks Napoleon in the head, his head was smashed like a ripped pumpkin. The other pigs fled over to the other farm and were never seen again.
