Good morning,everyone.Today I'd like to introduce my idol to you.They are Mayday,a popular rock band in Taiwan.
There are 5 menbers in the band: the drumer--Ming,the bass player--Masa,two guitar players--Monster and Stone,and the wocalist--Ashin.In 1997,these five dream makers got together and formed a band.It is Mayday!
They have already made 7 albums whose melodies and lyrics were written all by themselves. The spirit in their songs is love and piece. And what they want to do is not only to give others strength to keep an active attitude towards life and insist working hard,such as 倔强 and 出头天; but also help us understand more about the modern society and our life,such as 如烟 and 人生海海.
They are not only the king of rock band, but also the king of the vocal concert in China. They have held nearly 150 concerts around the world, such as in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Harbin, Hongkong, Taiwan, and LA, NewYork, New Zealand, Sydney and so on, many many big cities.
Recently, they are holding a new series of itimerant vocal concerts. And its theme is DNA.
What do you think about DNA? It doesn't just mean 脱氧核糖核苷酸.
It means Devil N’Angel?
Death N’Alive?
Dreaming N’Awakening?
Only you can decide your own DNA !
This is the slogan of their new concerts and it's also the sentence that I want to share with you. I know it isn't reasonal in biology. But I think what Mayday want to tell us is: everyone is unique as their DNAs. But as a matter of fact, we are almost the same when we were born. We have common hands just as others. However, we can make our life different by our common hands. Using our common hands to create a unique life. Isn't it the most powerful and interesting thing on Earth?

Another thing about them that moves me a lot is their friendship.

They have been together for 13 years. You know, time is the thief that steal away many things. In 13 years, a large number of things can be changed. A little baby can grow up and become a middle school student. And in their 13 years, some of them had to join the army, some of them went abroad to study, some of them got married with theit lovers and had children, but they are still together and always share happiness and sadness with each other. It's very very hard-won.
I've learnt a lot from them and I hope you can get some meaningful ideas from them, too.
