                罗伯特:这又是一次不错的排位赛,但是在Q3的时候选择轮胎有些小困难。Q2的时候,我们很清楚的看到软胎很快,但是,和昨天一样,衰退非常快。所以我们决定使用硬胎,尽管这让我们的排位赛并不是很好,不过顺利的话能够在比赛中更好些。我期待着比赛,看到其他人是怎样的轮胎策略会非常有趣。

                维塔利:Q1的时候所有的事情都很顺利,我们做了非常不错的工作,但是在Q2,我在暖胎上有些困难。我尝试着努力推进三圈带来些温度,但是依然不行。最主要的问题是刹车不足,因为我的尾部抓地力不好。赛车在Q1时更好,所以我们需要明白为什么Q2时表现差了。对于明天的比赛,我想这里超车并不容易,想要提升很难,但是我会尽我所能。

                The session today was all about the tyres because it’s clear that the option is the quicker tyre over one lap, whereas the prime will be better in the race. So it’s going to be interesting to see how the drivers cope with the tyres tomorrow.  
                Robert ran Q3 on the prime, which we believe is the best way to start the race and hopefully we will get the rewards tomorrow. As for Vitaly, it was a little bit frustrating because he had a very good Q1 and showed good pace, but he struggled for grip in Q2 and we need to try and understand the problems he had. It’s a shame because I think he had the pace to make it into Q3 today. For the race tomorrow, we will fight hard to bring home points with both cars.

                It’s good to see Robert make it easily through to Q3 once again and it was a fairly straightforward session for him. The option tyre was quicker today and he ran that in Q2, but we then chose to use the prime tyre in Q3. This probably cost us a better starting position, but we feel it’s the better tyre to start the race on and hopefully we will have an advantage over those starting on the option in the first stint of the race. Vitaly struggled for grip in Q2 and unfortunately missed out on Q3. He will start 14th and can hopefully make some progress in the race to challenge for points.

                    本周末,我们回到了阔别1年的加拿大。这条赛道与我们赛季中其他任何赛道特性上都不同,看看赛车在较低下压力水平赛道上的表现将会很有意思。
                    蒙特利尔赛道拥有一系列之字弯和长直道,而没有一个显著的快速弯角。结果在加拿大,我们的赛车的总体下压力水平是全年第2低的,仅次于蒙扎。
                    我显示细节的差别,我这里带来了雷诺土耳其版鼻翼的绘图版,与加拿大版鼻翼的对照,很能反映下压力大小。
                    在蒙特利尔,他们没有装配上曾小翼梢,因为他们不需要小翼梢带来的额外下压力,当然更不想要阻力。鼻翼保留了基础的设计哲学,特别是优雅的多层外洗式鼻翼端板,但已经能很好的说明在伊斯坦布尔和蒙特利尔赛道间的差别了。
                    这是非常显眼的改变,在与其他车队工程师的交谈中,他们对于雷诺每一站如何带来微小而又坚定的进步感到惊讶。在伊斯坦布尔,赛车已经比法拉利更快乐,这似乎是整个车队在前进。如果梅塞德斯在后半赛季放弃研发,那么雷诺完全有可能领先他们完成这个赛季。在经历了上个赛季赛道内外的灾难后,雷诺现在甚至变得更有自信了。
