It was no sure thing, but Ray Allen will return to the Celtics for at least one more season.

Sources close to the team confirmed that the veteran guard has agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract with a player option for the second year.

While there were questions about whether Allen might have been seeking more money than the team was willing to pay, it appears they were able to agree on a number that gives the Big Three a shot at another title.

盘点一下这星期发生的事，不会每篇都翻译了，只简单记录。

2.TA离队，投奔灰熊。合同三年950万。
（这一点大出乎我意料，谈判曾一度板儿上订钉的，突然就走了。danny说不是钱的事，我相信，但我认为，也不是时间的事。TA是现在仅剩下的几个07年以前的凯尔特人之一，六年啊，陪着球队从低谷到顶峰一路走来，很不容易，要真想留下他，凯队不差那一年，他的离开一定另有原因。等我有空仔细查清楚。他的离队是非常大的损失。）
3.房东出走丹佛，底薪91万。
4.弗兰克成为里弗斯助教。（咱DOC略显平庸的战术水平还是很需要强势助教的。不错不错，这个人事变动意义很重大。）
5.有待考证的流言：
danny正趁乱偷房子，土豆等待合同中，凯队在与热竞争巴恩斯。（土豆的已经谈妥，danny之所以没最后定砣，我猜他是在看房子，如果最终弄不回房子，回头就会马上签土豆。巴恩斯要好好追，这家伙会是PP很好的备胎，防守有功底，还有一手三分球，他能有效弥补TA出走的损失。）
6.莫里森就算了，要看饮水机咱有红毛神。再说，他容易引起不好的联想，虽然我不会在意一个人的过去，但他不行。

WEEI.com has confirmed with a source that Tony Allen has agreed to a multi-year deal with the Grizzlies. The Memphis Commercial Appeal first reported the agreement.

Allen, an unrestricted free agent, has spent his entire career with the Celtics since being drafted in 2004. He excelled this postseason as a defensive stopper and played a critical role in containing Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade.

Allen told WEEI.com during the playoffs that he would like to return to the Celtics next season … and beyond.

After the news came out that Tony Allen would be signing a free agent deal with Memphis, Allen’s mother, Ella Allen, told the Boston Herald, “He is definitely going to miss the Celtics — it’s a great team with great people. I know he is going to miss his friends. He really liked those guys. I’m sure he hates to leave.” She also explained in the article that she believed her son would stay in Boston, adding, “I am very surprised, but my son makes his own decisions, and I support him 100 percent.” But she did recognize the business side of the signing when she told the Herald, “They raised him. But sometimes change is good. It’s a business, and he just had to do what he had to do.”
TA妈妈艾拉对先驱报说，“他注定要走了，离开那个伟大的队伍。他将失去他最好的朋友，他真的很爱他们，我确定他不愿意走。”她在采访中说，她确信TA不想离开，“我对这个消息感到震惊，但我儿子做出了决定，我只有百分百支持他。”但是，她也意识到了续约之事中生意的一面，“是凯队将他培养长大，但有时候，换个环境是对的。生意就是生意，他只能做他应做的。”

嗯，可能是我想的有点多。只是不想TA这样的事再发生。

On why Doc had such a difficult time this past season:
（关于为何DOC在上赛季那么艰难）
Well, I thought that the team was underachieving and with all the injuries, as he saw some of the guys, I think he wondered what direction they were going and he was very encouraged in what he saw in all the players late in the season and in the playoffs, so I felt that he would come back. It was so publicized, once the story came out that he was — I made the comment at the time that it wasn’t a story, but I guess it was a story because he does that all the time — but I felt that he was coming back and I’m certainly glad that he did.

I did not talk him into coming back, I knew that I wanted him to come back and he knew that the organization wanted him. It was just a matter of doing what he usually does, but without the usual fanfare of the media attention.

Since the end of the Finals, the Celtics have made it clear that they believe Rasheed Wallace will retire this summer. Celtics president Danny Ainge was more emphatic about it this morning on WEEI's Dennis and Callahan Show.

"Rasheed has decided that he's retiring," Ainge said. "He's going to retire."

Wallace's agent Bill Strickland, however, was noncommittal when reached by phone this morning.

"I won't confirm or deny that that's the case," Strickland said.

Obviously you guys know that we had some tough times out there away from basketball. I tore my meniscus. I felt like the team was struggling so bad and the city needed something positive and I continued to play on my meniscus. I played on my meniscus for two years and it gradually got worse and I ended up having surgery and tried to get back quickly and it didn’t work out very well.
