Jon Lilygreen来自威尔士纽波特，父母都是威尔士人，学生时代从事着一些小型的演艺和歌唱事业，直到2010年在塞浦路斯为ESC 2010 OSLO的国内预选中获胜，将和The islanders共同代表塞浦路斯征战ESC。
The islanders是一个由塞浦路斯人，挪威人，英格兰人，苏格兰人，威尔士人共同组成的乐队，Jon Lilygreen担任吉他手兼主唱。
但他们在ESC 2010决赛中投票结果并不理想，仅仅获得第21名。
