在英语语法中，and 连接两个主语时，第二个主语可以是动词原形，也可以是动词不定式形式。但是当第二个主语是动词不定式时，通常会在前面加上 to，例如：- My mother likes to read books and watch TV at night.（我的母亲喜欢晚上读书和看电视。）- I need to go to the post office and buy some stamps.（我需要去邮局和买一些邮票。）需要注意的是，有些动词不定式中有自身的情态动词，如 can、could、may、might、will、would、shall、should 和 must 等，这些情态动词不会再次重复使用，例如：- You have to study hard and pass the exam.（你必须努力学习并通过考试。）- She wants to learn Chinese and can speak it very well.（她想学中文并能够说得很好。）
