Fabio Aurelio will wear the No.6 on the back of his shirt next season.

The Brazilian re-signed at Anfield last week after initially failing to renegotiate his contract under Rafael Benitez.

But instead of reclaiming his old No.12 shirt, Aurelio has plumped for a number worn in the past by the likes of Emlyn Hughes, Alan Hansen, Markus Babbel and John Arne Riise.
