Casey James has signed his deal with Sony Music Nashville, and his debut album will come out on 19 Recordings/BNA Records in 2011.
"Some dreams in life are only just that ... dreams," Casey says in a press release announcing the deal. "All my life I have wanted this and now my dream has come true. Words can't describe how thankful and blessed I am for the opportunity to give back to all those who have supported me. I'm going to work hard to make the best album possible! I want to thank my Momma for making me go to Denver [where he auditioned for American Idol]. Look out! I'm Nashville bound!"
In the same release, Sony Music Nashville Chairman and CEO Gary Overton says: "We at Sony Music Nashville are incredibly excited about signing Casey James. I flew to New York to see him 'live' with the American Idol Tour, and I was blown away with his voice, guitar playing and stage presence ... and so were the thousands of fans in the amphitheater. He has honed his skills as a showman with his years of performing live on stage! I can't wait to get him into the studio to begin recording his debut album."

Casey签的label是BNA Records，跟Kellie Pickler签的同一个（Kellie是第五季第六名，现在发展的蛮好的），明年会出首砖~

我也挺想让他签Arista的，但是Arista下都已经有7个人了。。RCA下有六个，BNA和Columbia下各有5个，其实俺之前挺希望让他签Columbia的……Columbia还没有签过Idol的呢。。不过BNA也挺好的，Kellie不就发展的不错么。。

哈，俺昨儿晚上11点半之后基本上就是守在电脑前面等消息，没想到没守多久press release就出来了，俺就第一时间发了
