It was decided for several reasons, but I prefer to use my professional name "LALAINE."

Besides acting, what are your other hobbies?


I love competitive sports like basketball and football. I also love swimming, snow skiing, horseback riding, roller blading and would be willing to try anything new. Actually my dancing seems to give me the most pleasure because I am able to dance and hang out with friends. I also love to sing.

Last, what's the best part about being a singer and an actress?


It is a big growing up process for me. I feel special when someone I look up to, comes to me and asks my opinion on a project. Most importantly I feel blessed to be able to make a difference whenever I visit chronically ill children who know me. I like that aspect of being an actor/celebrity. It is not just all glamorous and I have the capability to reach and connect with other lives, other children all over the world. That is amazing.

What was it like working with Hilary on Lizzie McGuire?


We get along and worked great together. The whole cast and crew was like a second family and I miss everyone.


How are you like and how are you different from "Miranda"?


Miranda is an amplified version of me. I don't hang out with one or two friends only. I love people so I have groups of friends. Like me, they are all different, and I love that. If I have my choice I would like them to come with me wherever I go but of course...

What's a basic day on the set like for you?


7AM call time, 3 hours at least for school time, with a 30 minute lunch break.


Do you get to keep the cool clothes and accessories you get in wardrobe from Lizzie?


Last season we were told to choose what we like, but by the end of the season most of them didn't fit me so I took some.
