二、两轴水平度及同轴度误差大
当两轴的水平度及同轴度误差超过联轴器所能补偿的范围时,轴齿与内齿的啮合将变得不准确,造成局部接触并产生附加力矩。这种不均匀的受力状态可能导致联轴器齿圈产生较大的轴向位移,甚至无法啮合,严重时发生断齿。
三、加工工艺及材料问题
加工工艺差:加工工艺不良的鼓形齿式联轴器,其内外齿的各齿之间齿形误差可能较大,导致传递的旋转力矩不能平均分配在每一个齿上。受力不均的齿可能因受力过大而引起磨损,严重时将发生掉齿或断齿。

四、疲劳限度及过载使用

过载使用:若联轴器所承受的扭矩超过其设计范围,也可能因过载而导致断齿。
