Sheboygan concert 11/19/10
Let me begin by saying that normally every year where I work I end the year with carrying over vacation days to the next year and sometimes its been up to 10 days but this is not the case for me for 2010. I will not be carrying over any vacation days to 2011. By the end of December 31st I will have used up all of my vacation days. Could Danny concerts have something to do with it? YES! I have no regrets and because of Danny I have met so many wonderful people and have so many awesome memories and I had an opportunity to tell him in person this weekend.
I have never traveled for or attended as many concerts as I have this year. I have been a wife, a mom and very dedicated to my job and never really spent time just for me so this year it all changed because of Danny. It all started pretty much almost a year ago on November 28, 2009 when I attended the first WI Danny event in Grafton about 3 months after the AI concert in my local area in August of 2009 and the rest is history as they say!
I felt in my heart that if I didn’t go to these two concerts I would miss out on something great and I am so glad I followed my heart. When your heart and your mind agree it’s always the right decision.
After only 3 hours of sleep, Friday morning 11/19 at 6AM I boarded a plane to Baltimore and my son boarded a plane to Cincinnatie to return to college. In Baltimore I met up with Steph and we traveled together to WI . Once we arrived we met up with Pam and Milgokey Fan in downtown Milwaukee and had lunch together. Since this was Steph’s first visit to Milwaukee, Pam took us all for a sightseeing drive by Summerfest grounds, Lakefront and a few other areas of downtown Milwaukee after the drive by we made plans to meet the rest of the group in Sheboygan for dinner.
Steph drove to Sheboygan and it took about 1 hour and by the time we arrived I could not keep my eyes open any longer so had to take a power nap and then we met up for dinner right across from the theatre. At the restaurant there were several other Ihearties/twitter fans, it was great to visit with all the Wisconsin fans that I had already met on my previous Danny concerts. Throughout the weekend it was stated to me that maybe I should invest in some real estate in WI as I am becoming a regular (lol!).
