Have I ever told you about the Creeping Ooze?
知道它的人不多。
Not many people know about it.
有一位松树先锋队员告诉我，她曾经见过一次，
Another Pinetree Pioneer told me she saw it once,
她是亲眼所见。

它就躲在中空的树干里头，
It hides in hollow tree trunks,
等待着好奇的徒步者凑近查看，
waiting for curious hikers to take a peek inside,
等到他们靠近的时候……

BAM!
脓液就会粘到他们脸上！
The ooze latches onto their face!
然后，它就从鼻孔里爬进来、
Then it creeps in through their nostrils,
渗入大脑。
seeping into the brain.
然后脓液就在那接管一切，
From there, the ooze takes over,
而且没人发现。
and nobody's the wiser.

Ever heard of the bog monster?
没人知道它到底长什么样……
Nobody knows what it really looks like...
见过它的人都无人生还。
nobody who's seen it up close ever made it back.
人们说它可以伪装自己，
People say it can disguise itself,
变成一块长满苔藓的石头。
to look like a mossy rock,
或者一根老树桩，
or an old stump,
甚至是脚下的一片泥土。
or even a patch of mud under your feet.
唯一能知道它是不是真的来了的办法
The only way to really tell it's there
就是你努力看向眼角那里……
is if you look out of the corner of your eye...
它有时会卸下伪装，
it'll sometimes let its disguise slip,
你会看到它开始微笑……
and you'll see it start to smile...
它的六张嘴长满了剃刀般锋利的牙齿！
with its six mouths full of RAZOR SHARP TEETH!
