Snooker hails a new star

SNOOKER is aslow－paced of planning，skill and patience.Once someone called it "The game of thought of as rather boring figures ，which has often hit the game's popularity with young people.

However ，a new generation of players seems to be changing the image of the game with their colorful personalities.

Judd Trump,who has attracted attention for winning the Chain Open in March,is certainly one of the new breed.Although the 21－yer－old was the runner－up to the World Snooker Championships in the UK last week，he overshadowed the winner John Higgins.

Derpite his reputation as one of snookes's biggest rising star，Trump seems to get just as much enjoyment from his activities away from the table.His biography on his microclog read：“Part－time snooker player and full－time international playboy.”

Trump says he wants to use his “playboy” image to draw more attention to the game.

He dosen't hide his passion for fast cars and playing.He claimed that he would buy himself a Ferrari if he won this year's world title.

However,some feel that Trump should control himself. Famous British snooker player Jimmy White told the rookie to focus on games.

"If Judd doesn't find the nightclubs，like I didn't，then he'll definitely win it 〔the world title〕one year."

But Trump already seems to understand this：“You're only remembered when you win titles.Nobody remembers the losers and I need to go away,work on things and come back stronger.”
