It's so hot that we all expect RAIN! Make it rain! Make it rain!!!

It makes me think of the phrase, "rain on my parade!". it means that when one person intentionally ruins another person's dreams or takes away some happiness. I guess at the momemnt, I even need someone to RAIN on my parade, as long as there is rain!

There is actually an old song called "don't rain on my parade":

Here is today's NYT news about the hot weather:
The wave of intense heat that has enveloped much of the central part of the country for the past couple of weeks is moving east and temperatures are expected to top the 100-degree mark with hot, sticky weather Thursday in cities from Washington, D.C., to Charlotte, N.C.
Temperatures will remain very hot and the humidity cloying for at least a few days. Boston is expected to reach 99 degrees on Friday, and Philadelphia, Newark and New York are forecast to hit 101 degrees.

There is a formula to calculate between Centigrade and Fahrenheit. US usually uses Fahrenheit to measure temperatures.
Centigrade = (Fahrenheit - 32) * 5/9
