Sara Wouldn't Date a Fan!
While Tegan once dated a fan, Sara, in some article, said that she wouldn't date a fan.
Tegan and Sara will sometimes pass a microphone around at their shows so fans can ask them question. The most common question they get is some variation on, "Can I get your phone number?" or "Will you go out with me?" Sara Quin says she's sure they're very nice people but she "can't imagine that they seriously think that's a possibility." Tegan Quin says Sara will sometimes tell them from the stage, "Maybe you'll meet someone tonight, but I'm not the one for you."
Sara has said repeatedly she would never date a fan, plus she's made comments and jokes about the youth in their audience and how inappropriate it would be for anything to happen with them.

Yep, it's true, Tegan once met a girl, who was also a fan at the Back In Your Head video shoot a while ago.
In an Australian interview Tegan and Sara did, when the interviewer asked, "Have you ever hooked up with a fan?" and Tegan was like "well..bla..bla..bla.."
As some of you might already know, the girl Tegan dated was Teresa, she's tegan's exgirlfriend before Lindsey Byrnes, here are some pics of Tegan and Teresa :
