@Selenator Actually, many people in my life had questioned my decision of wanting to be a musician. I understand what they're saying because they're right, it is a very tough and competitive industry. I thought about other careers that I am interested in and good at, and realized that music will have to be it! And yes...practicing used to make me want to give up,but I have friends who play the piano and they literally practice 8 hours per day!!! I thought that I didn't have to practice the same thing for 8 hours like they do so why complain? They had inspired me a lot, I think the most important thing for songwriting and other art is INSPIRTAION! I could lock myself in my room all day long and try to squeeze a song out of my head but they would sound lifeless without inspiration! Mr.Chou, one of the mentors of Song of China had asked me what inspires me in my life, and I answered him "they are sooooo many inspirations in life I don't even have time write them all down!" I wrote a song about a tree in front of my house, a neighbor's dog that was barking, friends and people in my life, cute guys that I've met (LOL), my mom and my dad and pretty much anything! I think you will have a GREAT future because you are already so determined at 14! And don't worry about second places!! I don't even get second place most of the time:p And most of my songs are incomplete too! It's ok to have pieces of song fragments so that you and mix them up with other fragments and form an interesting song. Cuz sometimes when you're song is complete, you don't want to change them again. I think there will be a third season for the show! I'm looking forward to see u on the third season! Thanks!!
