Zephaniah 3
17.耶和华你的神，是施行拯救、大有能力的主。他在你中间必因你欢欣喜乐，默然爱你，且因你喜乐而欢呼。
18.那些属你，为无大会愁烦，因你担当羞辱的，我必聚集他们。
19.那时，我必惩办一切苦待你的人，又拯救你瘸腿的，聚集你被赶出的，那些在全地受辱的，我必使他们得称赞，有名声。
20.那时、我必领你们进来、聚集你们．我使你们被掳之人归回的时候、就必使你们在地上的万民中有名声、得称赞。这是耶和华说的
17.The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;he will save,he will rejoice over thee with joy;he will rest in his love,he will joy over thee with singing.
18.I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly,who are of thee,to whom the reproach of it was a burden.
19.Behold,at that time I will undo all that afflict thee;and I will save her that halteth,and gather her that was driven out;and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.
20.At that time will I bring you again,even in the time that I gather you;for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth,when I turn back your captivity before your eyes,saith the Lord.

谁能登耶和华的山，谁能站在他的圣所。
就是手洁心清、不向虚妄、起誓不怀诡诈的人。
他必蒙耶和华赐福，又蒙救他的神使他称义。
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord?Or who shall stand in his holy place?
He that hath clean hands,and a pure heart;who hath not lifted up his soul into vanity,nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive the blessing from the Lord,and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

The Birth of Christ
And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. (Luke 2:1-7 ）

当时，耶稣被 圣 灵引到旷野，受魔鬼的试探。 他禁食四十昼夜，后来就饿了。 那试探人的进前来，对他说：「你若是上帝的儿子，可以吩咐这些石头变成食物。」 耶稣却回答说：「 经上 记着说： 人活着，不是单靠食物， 乃是靠上帝口里所出的一切话。」 魔鬼就带他进了圣城，叫他站在殿顶 上， 对他说：「你若是上帝的儿子，可以跳下去，因为 经上 记着说： 主要为你吩咐他的使者 用手托着你， 免得你的脚碰在石头上。」 耶稣对他说：「 经上 又记着说：『不可试探主—你的上帝。』」 魔鬼又带他上了一座最高的山，将世上的万国与万国的荣华都指给他看， 对他说：「你若俯伏拜我，我就把这一切都赐给你。」 耶稣说：「撒但 ，退去吧！因为 经上 记着说： 当拜主—你的上帝， 单要事奉他。」 于是，魔鬼离了耶稣，有天使来伺候他。 (马太福音 4:1-11 ）
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. (Matthew 4:1-11 ）
