 素来偏爱三拍子的乐曲。 

这首The Second Waltz，带着厚重的复古气息，让人想起旧式的欧洲宫廷，大厅上空高高的穹顶，舞会上交错而过牵着撑裙的女子。 
不同于印象中的大多数圆舞曲的清新潋滟或华美恢宏，除却旋律高潮部分微微打开的欢乐，它更多时候是庄重的，甚至还能听出些许悲悯的味道，就如同这浮华世事永远掩盖不了的隐隐哀伤。 

肖斯塔科维奇，有着波兰姓氏的苏联作曲家。出生在动荡年代，一生命途坎坷。因其生活的时地故，他的名字总是跟革命联系在一起。 
The Second Waltz远非他最著名的作品，却是最打动我的。 

对乐曲来说，没有词的好处是，你永远无须探究作者想表达什么。 
只要了解自己彼时彼刻回应音乐的心情，就足够了。

 歌剧《伊戈尔王》(opera "Prince Igor") 

《伊戈尔王》，4幕歌剧。 
鲍罗丁根据十二世纪的俄罗斯史诗《伊戈尔远征记》自编脚本并作曲。作曲家自十九世纪六十年代末开始写这部歌剧，遗憾的是，作品还未完成，作者就去世了。后来，作者生前的挚友里姆斯基-柯萨科夫和格拉祖诺夫一起续完了整部歌剧。 
歌剧的剧情大致为：在古俄罗斯的布基弗尔城，伊戈尔王和王子弗拉基米尔率军抵抗入侵的波罗维茨人，不幸战败被俘。在波罗维茨人的营地，王子和波罗维茨的康恰柯芙娜公主相爱，而伊戈尔王一心希望逃回到祖国，以雪前耻。波罗维茨首领康恰柯汗很欣赏他的刚强、豪勇，表示愿意释放他，但要他答应不再与波罗维茨人为敌，这些遭到了伊戈尔王的拒绝。后来，伊戈尔王得到了波罗维茨的正教徒奥弗路尔的帮助，终于设法逃回了祖国。而王子弗拉基米尔也如愿以偿地在波罗维茨同康恰柯芙娜公主成亲，当了敌国的驸马。

 波罗维茨少女合唱(或波罗维茨人的舞蹈"polovetsian dances") 

歌剧《伊戈尔王》的音乐和鲍罗丁的其他著名作品一样，既有宏伟的历史场面的描写，又有深刻的抒情气息。鲍罗丁在写作这部歌剧的音乐时，虽然没有直接引用民歌，但是他在准备创作这部歌剧时收集并研究了大量的民歌。第三幕波罗维茨女奴们的合唱，则运用了某些波兰舞曲的节奏特征。这是一种抒情的女声合唱，由三部曲式构成，全曲富有特征地把重音放在第二拍上，造成切分的效果，使人感到豁然开朗。歌曲的中部是前后部分的发展，这种单主题性虽然对比不大，但突出强调了歌曲贯穿始终的抒情性。而歌剧的序曲则非常有趣地采用了很多歌剧中的主题，这些丰富的材料极其巧妙而有机地组织在正规的奏鸣曲式内，不能不说是作曲家的匠心独到之处。

 鲍罗丁，俄罗斯作曲家，1883年12月12日生于彼得堡，据说他是一位高加索王子和一名俄罗斯女子的私生子。1856年，鲍罗丁毕业于彼得堡医学院，1858年得医学博士学位，随后结识俄国科学家门德列耶夫等，并一起到过意大利、德国和瑞士等地。回国后的1862年，担任医学院教授。 

鲍罗丁在音乐方面具有同样的兴趣和天才，自幼就开始学习演奏长笛、钢琴和大提琴，进学校前就开始创作乐曲。但直至1869年他的《第一交响曲》公演这前，他一直是业余音乐爱好者。鲍罗丁是以巴拉基廖夫为首的作曲家友谊团体强力五人集团（其他成员为：穆索尔斯基、里姆斯基-柯萨科夫、居尔、巴拉基雷夫）的成员，60年代末是这一小组和他本人创作活动的鼎盛时期，他的优秀作品大多是在这一时期完成的。70年代，巴拉基廖夫脱离小组，他同穆索尔斯基、里姆斯基-柯萨科夫经常在一起研究创作。80年代，他还时常参加贝莱耶夫新的音乐家小组的活动，为此写过作品。1886年，比利时世界博览会演奏他的作品，鲍罗丁来到安特卫普，受到了热烈欢迎。 

1877年2月27日，他在彼得堡参加一个盛大舞会时，因心脏病发作猝然逝世，安葬在亚历山大?涅夫斯基公墓中莫索尔斯基的墓旁。墓碑上同时刻着他的音乐作品的主题和他所研究的化学公式。 

由于科学研究、教育和社会活动占去了鲍罗丁的大部分时间，因此他的音乐作品相对较少，而且创作速度极为缓慢。他的《第一交响曲》写了五年，《第二交响曲》写了七年，歌剧《PrinceIgor》（此剧与穆索尔斯基的《鲍里斯.戈杜诺夫（BorisGodunov）》一同被誉为俄罗斯国民乐派的高峰）则费了18年还没完成，在他死后由里姆斯基-柯萨科夫和格拉祖诺夫为之续写完成，三年后才首度公演。但是，他的作品仍然涉及了音乐体裁的众多领域，包括歌剧、歌舞剧、戏剧配乐、交响曲、交响音画、室内乐重奏、钢琴小品和浪漫曲。代表作为：《第二交响曲》和交响音画《在中亚的草原上（TheSteppesofCentralAsia）》。他在交响曲和歌剧中发展了格林卡歌剧《鲁斯兰与柳德米拉》中那些粗具轮廓但独树一帜的新特点。一位评论家说：“没有一个音乐家能像他这样只写了那么一点作品而能永垂不朽”。
