07.04.2016 ~ MLTR concert in Odense

After a good night sleep and a nice walk in the beautiful area in Korsør, it was time to move on to Odense. Here I should meet my friend Lea. It was so great to see her again, and no doubt we both was looking so much forward to attending the next MLTR concert together in her hometown. As her husband came home we did eat a nice little dinner in an Asian restaurant near their home. Then it was time to move on to the concert place Trefor Park. It was a football stadium, but inside a concert place as well :o) :o) We arrived in good time before the concert, and did wait downstairs until we were allowed to enter the concert area on third floor. Our tickets were without dinner, and the dinner guests were able to get seats before us, but lucky us only one dinner audience did use that possibility. That made it possible for us to get lovely seats on first row, which we did appreciate so much :o) :o)

Our heroes went on stage, and after the first song Jascha said with a joking smile: We got the axe, so we have cut the instruments. Nah dear Jascha, but you guys do not need much to entertain us – That a true facts that you can be proud of :o) :o)
In the end of “Gonna Be Around” Jascha was looking at Lea, that was singing silently along to the lovely song just like me and many of the other audiences. Suddenly he said: “I can see you are singing the song – Let us hear it” Then he reach the microphone down to Lea. A smiling no thanks he got as answer from Lea :o) :o)
This evening we also got the songs One Way Street, Let’s Build A Room and A Different Song without break between the songs. These lovely fast going songs is a good way to end the first part of the concert I think :o) :o)
The song “Something Right” was beginning with Jascha dancing to the first tone of the song from Troels and Mikkel.
It was time for “Gonna Be Around”, and this song was introduced this way from Jascha: "Now we are going to have a song from the 90´s. It was a time when people use to buy music on something that calls CD´s". Then he continued: Well let us see -You are not confirmed, so you do not have the CD, You are old, so you may have it. In cace you do not have it you got the chance afterwards to buy it from our children that is selling it in the corner. Sure Jascha you got a good point - It is possible and it is music for people in all ages :o) :o) Then we got the lovely song :o) :o)

Also this evening you could feel it was audiences that were listening to the songs with big enjoy and pleasure. As the more well known songs were coming in the second part of the show, you saw the mood was reaching a higher lovely level.
Standing up applauding we did in the ending of the concert. Still hungry for more wonderful MLTR music I think we all was, but also very happy for the great experience our heroes already had been giving us this evening.
On the way out we pass the staff in Trefor Park, and we gave them a thankful smile with the comment: Please just book these guys again – They play so wonderful and we enjoyed it so much. It seems like the staff were both agree and happy for the response :o) :o)
Moving back to Lea´s home we did playing and singing MLTR songs in the car. It had been such a great evening. After saying goodbye and thanks a lot to Lea and her husband, I was moving back to Korsør where I should spent the night again. Happy and ready I was for more MLTR music together with good friends the next day.

09.04.2016 ~ MLTR concert in Knebel

Waking up listen to MLTR music we did, and after breakfast we were going to Copenhagen for a while. Afterwards it was time to say goodbye and lots of thanks to Gitte. Helen, Patrick and I were moving on to the ferry that should sail us to Jutland in the afternoon. Without problems we found this evening’s concert place in Knebel, where we also should spend the night after the show.

After checking in and getting us concert ready in our rooms, we were ready for dinner and more lovely MLTR music. The dinner was not in the same room as the concert, and I knew from the last MLTR here in Knebel where our heroes should play.
It was a concert without seat numbers, and we were lucky to be there in good time before, and got seats in front :o) :o) This concert in Knebel was the only place where the audiences were sitting at long tables during the concert. That was a shame I think, but still it was a very nice place with some beautiful light sculptures in the room that chance colors. Ready we were – Also Patrick that should attend a MLTR concert for the first time in his life :o)

Our heroes went on stage with smiles and hi :o) As the evenings before, they gave us the 3 first songs sitting in front, and I think it is a fine idea to start the concert this way. The songs became more sentimental and touching when we got those versions with minimal instruments and total focus of the song/lyric.
Jascha was ending “Complicated Heart” in a special way singing “Uh uh” in a higher tone. It is not possible to describe how it was, but it really sound lovely :o) The special heart touches sound in Mikkel´s guitar and Jascha´s lovely singing voice when our heroes did play “Breaking My Heart” this way really also makes this song very sentimental and emphasizes so fine into the song lyric.
It was time for the more fast going song “One Way Street” and Mikkel were standing up. That continued, and it was clear to see that everybody did enjoy the concert. That we all were here because of the music and the magical power it have :o) :o)

After the break it was time for the more well knowing MLTR songs, and also in Knebel the mood was reaching an even higher level that way. When it came to “I Still Carry On” you could see audiences dancing besides the stage.
Much too soon it was time for the last songs. Standing up we all did in the end of the show, and our heroes got a well deserved tribute for their lovely performing. On our way out I told the staff that it have been so great. Uh please book them again, I said to them with a by smile.
We were all tired after a long day and I had to move on early the next morning, so after a while it was time to say goodbye to Helen and her husband. Wishing them a good nigth sleep and a safety trip home to Belgium again I surely did. It have been great to enjoy the last days together with them, and we all got the hope we would meet again somday, someway.

After a very busy working day, I was ready to pick up my friend Doris in Aarhus. Together we were moving to Struer, which was a 2 hours driving trip. In Struer we met our other friend Karina, and it really was so great seeing both of them again.
Eating a little dinner together we did, and then it was time moving to the door. A stormy and cold weather is was but we wanted to get good seats, and were lucky to be among the first. Soon more audiences were coming waiting together with us until we were allowed to move inside. We succeeded to get some fine seats on first row, and soon afterwards it was time for our heroes to go on stage.

“Do you know this instrument”? Jascha did ask after he had been playing on the mouth piano in “Complecated Heart” Jascha then continued with a smile: “It is a nice instrument completely without Internet and wires” :o) :o) Uh yes dear Jascha – A simple thing with a great sound. So nice to hear you use it :o) :o)
Troels were introduced with big applause and funny comments this evening as well. Troels is a Herning boy, and we did play in Herning last week. Jascha told us. Yeah us in Herning have been play football against you in Struer sometimes. “We do not have any here from the last concert in Herning” Jascha then did ask. “No one but Lisbeth – She was attending our concert in Herning as well” Mikkel answered :) Strange to be the only repeat audience it was, but surely worth the experience :o) :o)
It was time for the song “You Took My Heart Away”, and when Jascha should sing “my life” in the end, he was joking by holding the words back like many times before. Laughter always following his funny teasing :o) :o) “Well it really is so embarrassing to play wrong. Especially when we are among people that know the completely correct tones and words so well” That lead to the next question from the stage: “We do not have any music conservatory educated among the audiences, do we?” :o) :o)

Before the song “Something Right” Jascha made some advertisement for the CD´s it have been possible to buy on this tour as well. “This evening we do not have our children with us to sell them. Now we are excited to see if it got influence on the sale” Jascha told us with a smile. “Yeah, but poor salesman tonight if it got a lover sales result” Troels comment with a smile :o) :o)
It was time for “The Actor”, and the mood was going to an even higher MLTR level. Some of the audiences were moving silently closer to the stage to take good pictures. Suddenly my friend Vergie was coming to my place, and we were enjoying the music sitting together for a while before she was moving back again :o) :o)
Also this time our heroes got a fine and very strong standing tribute in the end. Once again it was a fact that our heroes bring lots of enjoy and happiness with their show :o) :o)
I was talking a little bit with Vergie afterwards – No doubt that she and her friends also have been enjoyed the evening :o) :o) It have been a long day and a little time afterwards it was time to say goodbye and thanks a lot to Doris and Karina. Driving back to my little home I did with great mood and MLTR music playing in my car. Another fine MLTR memory richer I was, and ready for a new one soon again :o) :o)

22.04.2016 ~ MLTR concert in Copenhagen

After some relaxing time at home, I was ready to take the ferry to Zealand and Gitte. After getting concert ready, we were moving on to Copenhagen. This time the concert should take place in a building belongs to our national TV station. We were there in good time before the concert, looking around the special place we did for a while. Not so long time afterwards we met Lotte and her husband. Talking outside we did until we were allowed to come inside. It took a good time before we finally were allowed to enter the concert room, but lucky us we got seats on first row once again :o) :o) Gitte´s mother did arrive later and wanted a seat in distance from the stage this time.

It was a surprise that the concert place was not that big, and we only got a smaller distance from the stage which was made almost on the floor. On the walls you could see many pictures painted of famous people. Mostly Danish musician people that I guess must have been playing in this room.
The time went fast in good company, and soon it was time for our heroes to go on stage. As we got first song “Gonna Be Around” and Jascha did sing “I believe I have found a miracle” He was pointing down at Gitte with a smile as he ended the line “in you” :o) :o)
You soon got the feeling that it was a great crew this evening, which were coming completely for the music. As always it really do warm my heart so deeply to see that, and soon we got the lovely special MLTR mood all over the room. Concerts like this also made our heroes giving an extra part of themselves on stage, and especially Mikkel was going musical amok this time :o) :o) More than once he was moving in front of the stage appealing to the audiences in a great way. Sure we are with you guys dear Mikkel, let us all reach a great musical explosion together :o) :o)

In the break Gitte and I were going to Gitte´s mother saying hello to her. She could tell us that the mood and good experience certainly also were to find on distance :o) :o)
It was time for the song “Someday”, and Jascha introducing it by saying: “Now I guess you expect that we are playing one of our older songs – We must say you aren’t getting one of them….. You got more than one” He told the audiences with a teasing smile :o) :o)
Also this evening was ending much too far, and soon it were time for bringing our heroes back for the extra tracks. With big smiles and thanks for the support they did enter the stage again. “Thank you so much Jascha greet us when he was coming to his microphone again - Well I think it is the first time here we are hearing people trampling on the floor to bring us back” :o) Laughter and lots of trampling on the floor he got as reply from the audiences :o) :o)
For a while you could see two ladies dancing and totally enjoy the show near the stage in the left side. Now suddenly these ladies and many more audiences including Gitte and me were moving as close to the stage as possible¨. Singing dancing side by side and enjoying the last lovely songs we did. You could see some “Wow welcome closer” looks on our heroes faces :o) Anytime dear guys – You deserve it so much :o) :o) Uh such an fantastic ending it was – As we were almost finish with the last song “That´s Why You Go Away” our heroes suddenly start playing “Purple Rain”. Big thumbs up and respect for the fine idea to remind Price this way in the end :o)

Standing side by side afterwards our heroes got such a strong ending tribute from the audiences. Mikkel went to the ladies next to Gitte and I and gave us all a handshake as thanks. Sure it really have been such a great concert for all of us dear Mikkel. Jascha did answer making profiles like a cool photo model instead of shaking hands :o) :o)
It was time to say goodbye to Lotte and her husband, and soon afterwards we were moving back to Gitte´s home. Filled up with so many good thoughts we were – Lovely MLTR music and good mood we had in our heads as we said goodnight and sleep well to each other :o) :o)

23.04.2016 ~ MLTR concert in Aarhus

After breakfast it was time for us to move on and reach the ferry to Jutland. Just before the ferry we passed a place with such a beautiful landscape, and we did stop my car to take some great pictures of it :o) :o) As we reach Jutland, we saw Danish flags were hanging many places in Aarhus. It must be because our heroes are coming home we told each other with joking smiles :o) :o)

We were moving home to me, and got some relaxing time here, before it was time to get concert ready once again :o) :o) Coming back to Aarhus we were meeting with two dear friends of mine not so far from the concert place. Aase and Lissi should attend an MLTR concert for the first time now, and we all were looking forward to get a great evening :o) :o)
This time it was a concert with numerated seats, and here Gitte and I also got seats on first row. My friends got seats in distance from the stage, but still good seats :o) :o)
A surprise it was that the stage was on the floor this time, which only could lead to a better contact with the audiences :o) :o) We did talk a little with the couple sitting beside of us. It was a new married sweet couple, and they have got these concert tickets as wedding gift. Oh how romantic and great :o) :o)
Also this evening Jascha did point out Gitte while we did sing “I believe I have found a miracle in you” :o) :o) In the end of the song he came to the word “you” again and here he did point out another audience in the other side of the room :o) :o)
The music hall where our heroes did play this last tour concert got seat that were placed higher and higher from row to row. That gave a great sight for everybody. “I think it is first time we are playing for audiences sitting like that” Jascha said to us and continued with a smile “Now that lead to the question if it is the concert room that is great or the audiences that is fantastic” :o) Both dear Jascha - Including you guy on stage :o) :o)

As the concerts before Jascha did found his sunglases making cool attitudes when we got the song “Different Song” Afterward Jascha told that is now was time for a Breeaaak, and start to move backstage still wearing sunglasses pretending he was an old man that have lost his sight. Yeah we have to have a break so Jascha could get back his sight, Troels told us, supporting Jascha on his way out :o) :o) Big laughter they received as reply :o) :o) :o)
In the break we got response from my friends that the concerts were wonderful on distance as well. Both Aase and Lissi really think it have been a great experience to here MLTR LIVE :o) :o)
Jascha got his sight back :o) :o) And soon it was time for the second part of the concert. The song “Someday” turn the mood to an higher level, and then Jascha said: “Well we have heard you would like us to play some of our old songs – What do you want to hear he ask?” The audiences got many suggestions on that question of course, and then soon Jascha said “Oh you want “I Still Carry On” we can play that :o) ”
It was time for “25 minutes” and here Jascha did start with the tone of the song “That´s Why You Go Away” He then were looking at his friends on stage and say: So you will not play that song, well then we must try another one” :o) We then got “25 minutes” and a big standing up tribute in the end. Stronger the tribute became which bring our heroes back on stage again – Lucky us :o) :o)
As the song “Wild Woman” did start Mikkel asked us all to stand up. Great point dear Mikkel :o) – Seconds afterwards we all were standing up dancing, singing and enjoying the faster going song :o) :o) Also this evening Kaare were really going drummer amok. “Could you hear the drums?” Mikkel did ask the audiences in the side of the room where Kaare were sitting :o) :o)

Before the last extra track Kaare were drinking water, and Jascha did then say with his joking voice: “Please do not put more Vodka on him” :o) :o)
Standing up tribute and enjoying with great pleasure we all did in the last song. Also this evening our heroes were sending Prince a fine greeting by turning into “Purple Rain” in the end. Standing there side by side getting such a strong applause afterward our heroes did. Uh how I feel in mood to give them all some warm friendly hugs as a big thanks for this wonderful tour that now was over. I think Gitte got the same feeling at that moment :o) :o)
On the way out I catch Jonas and gave him my warm thanks for these fine concerts. It really had been 10 great evenings with focus on the music in all the concerts both among the audiences and on stage. The setlist and the different setup on stage was a nice and fresh way to renew the shows I think :o) :o) Driving back to my home we did already looking forward for the day in the future when we should enjoy more wonderful MLTR music LIVE again :o) :o)
