I spent the afternoon today at the studio with @grindstonescott and @marthus_drummer listening through to the recently recorded drum takes for the forthcoming new Cradle Of Filth album. And they were good. And thus we rejoiced and all the company of Heaven did sing.

Woohoo! 150k followers! That’s got to be cause for some celebration! Thank you so much for the support! Firstly I’d like to thank God, my parents, all the people in the industry who voted for me for this award.... oh wait. That’s something else.

Today the dark queen, the former keyboard player of Cradle Of Filth, Lindsay Schoolcraft, is celebrating her 34th year.
We wish her all the creative success, happiness and health the day can wing. Have a very Happy Birthday Lindsay! Xxx

A gloriously sunny weekend afternoon outside in the garden saw me clean up my bike from winter. I feel safe in the knowledge that it can go back in the shed for yet another year without upset now!

One of my few vices has got to be a FAB ice lolly on a hot Summery day. Actually scrub that. One of many vices. And one of the many iced things to enjoy during Ice-solation amid the current lickdown.
Must be the heroin-like sugary bit at the top.

Like who the f**k is this band Nirvana? 😂 Obviously not much was happening in the world of metal that week!

Studio day three. The Innsmouth look. Will transforming into an Eldritch horror stave off the Corona Virus? I shall see in the morning, or better still, the Cthulhu dawn.

Grindstone studio day 4. I’m going for a Baroque Corona Virus defensive look today whilst vokilling. And you know what they say... if it’s not ‘baroque’, don’t try and fix it!

The Cradle studio session had broken for Easter, to be fully resurrected the middle of next week (we’re not as quick off the mark as the Nazarene, just more fashionably late...). In the meantime i’m just dropping by to wish everyone a happy isolated Easter. And to say I’m loving this portrait by @mmmmmmaslova68 . Whoever the painting is of, she’s a hottie! 🤣👍🏻🤘🏻

What a way to spend Easter! Hanging about the house like a bad smell... But don’t flout the guidelines! Stay home and help stem the tide of the transmission, however tempting the gorgeous weather outside this weekend is.
