Both started arguing for a while when they come upon another drunk walking, so they stopped him. "Sir, could you please help settle our argument? Tell us what that thing is up in the sky that's shining. Is it the moon or the sun?"

The third drunk looked at the sky and then looked at them and said, "Sorry, I don't live around here."

One day a boy came to his teacher and said:" Teacher, pa wants to know if you like roast pig."

Finally the teacher said to the boy:"I thought your father was going to send me over some roast pig."

"Yes," said the boy, "he did intend to, but the pig sot well."

More Polite

 A fat man and a skinny man were arguing about who was the more polite.

The skinny man said he was more polite because he always tipped his hat to ladies. But the fat man knew he was the more courteous because, whenever he got up and offered his seat, two ladies could sit down.

 When the waitress in a New York City restaurant brought him the soup du jour, the Englishman was a bit dismayed.

"Good heavens," he said, "what is this?"

"Why, it's bean soup," she replied.

"I don't care what it's been," he replied. "What is it now?"

Note:

It's bean soup 与 It's been soup 发音相同。前者的意思是：它是豆汤；后者的意思是：它曾经是汤。

Saving The President

 On Clinton's last trip to Hawaii, he went swimming at Waikiki Beach. He got caught in a riptide and was been pulled out to sea.

Three young surfers swam out to him and brought him to shore. He wanted to reward them, and asked what they would like.

The first said he wanted to be a fighter pilot, and Clinton said he would get him an appointment to the A. F. Academy.

 Three pastors in the south were having lunch in a diner. One said, "You know, since summer started I've been having trouble with bats in my loft and attic at church. I've tried everything----noise, spray, cats----nothing seems to scare them away."

 Proctor (exceedingly angry): "So you confess that this unfortunate freshman was carried to this frog pond and drenched? now what part did you take in this disgraceful affair?"

 A blonde and brunette were watching the 6 o'clock news. The news was about a man about ready to jump off a bridge.
一个金发的女人和一个黑发的女人一起看6点新闻。新闻正在播放一个男人正要从桥上跳下去。

The brunette turns to the blonde and says, " I bet you $50 the man is going to jump."The blonde replies, "Okay you're on." Sure enough, the man jumps, and the blonde gives the brunette $50.
黑发女人对金发女人说，“我打赌这个男人会跳下去，我赌50块钱。”金发女人回答道，“好的，我接受你的打赌。”结果这个男人真地跳了下去，金发女人给了黑发女人50美元。

The brunette says, "I can't accept this money. I watched the 5 o'clock news and saw the man jump then." "No, you have to take it," says the blonde.

Making a Confession

 A drunken man staggered into a Catholic church, sat down in the Confessional and said nothing. The priest is waiting and waiting and waiting. 
一个男人喝得酩酊大醉，摇摇摆摆地走进一座天主教堂，一言不发地坐在忏悔室中。牧师就一直等啊等啊。

The priest coughs to attract the drunk man's attention, but still the man says nothing. 
牧师咳嗽了几声，想引起男人的注意，但是男人始终没有开口。

The priest then knocks on the wall three times in a final attempt to get the man to speak.
牧师最后敲了三次墙壁，试图让男人说话。

Finally the drunk replies, "No use knockin,' pal. There's no paper."
最后，这个醉汉回答道：“兄弟，敲也没用，我也没有纸。”

Did God Make You?

 A little girl is sitting on her grandpa's lap and studying the wrinkles on his old face. She gets up the nerve to rub her fingers over the wrinkles. Then she touches her own face and looks more puzzled. 
小女孩坐在爷爷的腿上看他脸上的皱纹。她鼓起勇气摸了摸那些皱纹，又摸了摸自己的脸，感到十分困惑。

Finally the little girl asks, "Grandpa, did God make you?" 
最后，小女孩问：“爷爷，你是上帝造的么”

"He sure did honey, a long time ago," replies her grandpa. 
爷爷回答说：“当然是了，只不过是很久以前造的。”

"Well, did God make me?" asks the little girl. 
女孩问：“那我是上帝造的么？”

"Yes, He did, and that wasn't too long ago," answers her grandpa. 
爷爷说：“是啊，不过是不久以前造的。”

"Boy," says the little girl, "He's sure doing a lot better job these days isn't He?"
“好家伙，”小女孩说：“他比原来可干得好多了，是不是？”
