昨天，WEEI发布了一篇文，http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kz=813884961，它很可能是意识到了什么，标题是《Should Paul Pierce opt out of his contract?》。但很囧的是，全文没怎么讨论皮尔斯跳出合同是“应该”还是“不应该”，而是一个劲儿在讲续约的事、合同的事、和怎样能够续约，新合同多少钱……话里话外的语气就像皮尔斯800年前就跳了，他正考虑的高兴，该给胖子一个什么样的新合同呢？最高三年4200万？我看挺靠谱。具体的数额，等NBA审计完了，新工资帽出来才能定。但看WEEI的意思，似乎回旋余地很小。


这么多年了，谁都知道谁是什么想法，看重什么。要留下就都留下，要走就走得一个也不剩。省得触景生情，叫人心伤。财散人聚，财聚人散，这个道理谁都懂。

This is very encouraging news for the Celtics and Danny Ainge as he attempts to bring back the core of the team for another run. The veteran players had all expressed support for Rivers while he took some time to consider his options.

While Paul Pierce has decided to terminate the final year on his contract and joins Ray Allen as a free agent, Rivers return is a significant factor in their decision-making.

It also allows the Celtics a degree of stability in what has been an eventful few weeks since their loss in Game 7 of the NBA finals against the Lakers.

Also, Kendrick Perkins told reporters Tuesday that he would have surgery to repair a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament in his right knee and would probably be out until late December or January.

消息最初来自《波士顿先驱报》，后来环球和WEEI先后证实，绝对可靠。

翻译完环球的这篇文章后，我近乎人格分裂了。
作者的每一句话，都像一把刀，一下下地往我心窝捅。
但我不得不承认，这是迄今为止关于凯队合同事件的所有报道中，最精彩的一篇。
此文没有那些空洞枯燥的言辞和人云亦云的推测，而是作者站在凯尔特人球迷的角度，真真切切地为球队的将来考虑。虽然作者的思维方式有些极端，言语也颇为激烈，但通篇都是自已的思考和见解，而且不避讳任何让人心痛的现实。
这些话令喜欢凯队和三兄弟的人看了很心寒，就像冬天里迎头浇下的冷水，从头顶冻到脚后跟儿。我们内心里，希望看见他们三个永远在一起。然而事实就像作者所说，最理智的选择是就此分手，对他们自已是好事（能拿个大合同养老），对凯队更是好事（能最合理最省力地重建）。
看了这么多年球，这些道理我都懂。不是我不能够面对，而是心中有太多不舍。因为散了的不光是三个球员，一支球队，更是这三年来我为之投入的感情和爱。在作者看来，强留下他们太过自私，伤害了凯队的未来，是狭隘的爱。但试问，从古到今，真正能做到舍小我保大义的人又有几个呢？
我是多么想看着他们相扶到老，直到皱纹爬上额头，鬓角染上白霜，彼此的手搭着对方微驼的背，一起目送三件绿衫缓缓升上花园的穹顶……我知道这是太美的梦。
安吉也说过，他最不想见到的，是上世纪80年代未的情况。当时凯队因为老将太多，导致球队经历了漫长而痛苦的重建期，直到22年后才如愿拿到第17个冠军。在那个年代里，老家伙们为了能在一起打球，付出了沉重的代价。
现在的凯队与当年很相似，我多么想看到他们三个也能为了深厚的感情，放弃金钱放弃虚名甚至放弃未来，死也要在一起。这是我心中的一个美好的童话，如果最终成真，我愿意陪伴凯队走进下一个轮回，不论今后是22年哪怕再长的磨难，我也永不后悔。

皮尔斯跳出合同，一方面可以规避这些风险，另一方面也为球队提供了弹性操作空间来为他的身边配备好球员。这意味着凯队不必完全推倒重建，下赛季可以腾出更多薪金空间。
The club also wants to bring Ray Allen back. He’s an unrestricted free agent who was allowed to play out his final year. The Celts are hopeful in this case, but Allen appears intent on at least perusing the market to see what might be there for him.
球队也希望RAY留下，并对此充满信心，但阿伦似乎想在续约之前，先观察一下自由市场上有什么样的机会。
He isn’t expected to get the $18.8 million he made this past year, but some of the bigger-name free agents have wisely been talking about him as a perfect complement when their game of Millionaire Musical Chairs is over.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers took little time getting back to work and recruiting free agents, including the Celtics' own free agents.

Rivers said Thursday that the first call the club made was to Ray Allen, an unrestricted free agent who said he would like to return to Boston but will garner attention from other clubs looking for a standout shooter and positive locker room influence.
