访谈的下一个部分，是恐怖故事时间~！当弘基说灯有点亮不吓人的时候，工作人员马上关了舞台的灯。恐怖故事环节是个小游戏。两个被选中的成员必须每人讲个恐怖故事，观众将选出更吓人的故事。输了的成员将喝一杯苦的蔬菜汁作为惩罚。
弘基自然很主动，在简短讨论后，成员们选择了承炫第二个参加者。尽管是先主动参加的，当被主持要求开始讲故事时，弘基高兴的说：“承炫先！=D”然后承炫的恐怖故事就开始了。

下一个是弘基说，他努力讲述80%他在日本的故事，在一点翻译的额外帮助下。“有两个女孩经常住在一起，一天，女孩A告诉另一个她要外出去看朋友。但是当女孩到达巴士站是，她发现她忘了带钱包。然后，女孩回到房子，注意到灯是灭的，她似乎看到女孩B躺在床铺上。正当女孩A想要去开灯找钱包时，女孩B在黑暗中说不要开灯，所以女孩A在黑暗中找到了钱包然后离开了” 当她几个小时回来后，她发现女孩B死了。一个信息用口红写在镜子上说“如果你开灯就会死。”明显地，在那个时候房子里有一个小偷，女孩B命令A不要开灯是为了救她的命
然后是投票时间，我们个人比较喜欢承炫的故事，认为弘基的故事结尾有点混乱。但是大家看起来有不同的选择，所以可怜的承炫不得不最后喝下了蔬菜汁。不过他的表情表现出他已经很习惯喝蔬菜汁了。

[Report] FT Island Brand-new days In-store Event @ Tower Records Shinjuku 2010/07/17
About 300 over fans were present, including fans who rushed over from the Shibuya shows earlier in the day, as well as fans donned in the Brand-new day T-shirts.
The members arrived in the store at 5pm, looking pretty tired from the Shibuya shows and the gig the day before. It must be really tiring to do three shows in a row, but the boys still kept their smiles for all the fans! =) They were all dressed in Jinbei, which is a traditional Japanese clothing worn usually by man during summer. Hotness!!

The members arrived in the store at 5pm, looking pretty tired from the Shibuya shows and the gig the day before. Hotness!!
The talk show started with self-introduction and a short comment on the new single by each of them. Jonghun talked about his composing experience from Music Life, and Minhwan said Treasure was a special song because it was the first song they recorded for this single.
Throughout the first part of the talk show, Jonghun and Hongki were a little distracted looking for someone, or something behind the main crowd. A friend in the crowd, maybe? Or perhaps, something special in the shop?

Moving on to the next segment of the talk, it was a horror story telling session! When Hongki commented the lights were a little too bright to be scary, the staff immediately responded by switching off the stage lights. Wow! This horror story segment turned out to be a small game, where two chosen members have to tell a horror story each, and the audience will then vote for the scarier story. The member who loses is then made to finish a cup of bitter vegetable juice as a forfeit.
Hongki volunteered spontaneously, and after some discussion, the members chose Seunghyun to be the second participant. Despite volunteering first, Hongki happily said, “Seunghyun first! =D” when asked by the host to begin his story. ^^; So here goes Seunghyun’s horror story.
“There once lived a man. One night, he was sleeping in his room, when he suddenly felt something weird. He woke up and opened his eyes to see two little girls at the edge of his bed, who were slowly crawling towards him. He attempted to get out of the bed and run, but he realized he could no longer move!! One of the girls eventually got to the man’s face, (At this moment, Jaejin, who was sitting beside Seunghyun, acted out the scene with him) and warned him, “Don’t think you’ll be able to escape!” The man was totally frightened. And in the next instant, the second girl got to him as well, and…
AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The whole store, including fans, staff, security guards, and even regular shoppers, probably suffered a mild heart attack from Seunghyun’s scream. ^^;
Next up was Hongki, who managed to tell 80% of his story in Japanese, with a little extra help from the interpreter.
“There were two girls who used to live together. One day, Girl A told the other she had to go out and meet a friend. But when the girl reached the bus stop, she realized that she had forgotten to bring her wallet. And so, the girl went back to the house, and noticed that the lights were out. It seems like Girl B was already in bed. Just as Girl A was about to switch on the lights to look for her wallet, Girl B spoke in the dark, saying “Do not switch on the lights!!” So, Girl A looked for her wallet in the dark, and then left for her meeting.
When she was back a few hours later, she found out Girl B was dead. A message written with lipstick was found on the mirror, saying, “You would have died as well if you switched on the lights just now.” Apparently, there was a thief in the house at the moment, and Girl B ordered Girl A not to switch on the lights in order to save her life.”
Then, it was voting time! We personally liked Seunghyun’s story better as Hongki’s story ending was a bit confusing. But the crowd seemed to have a different opinion, so poor Seunghyun had to drink the vegetable juice in the end. His face, though, said he’s already used to drinking vegetable juice. ^^;

According to Hongki, who dislikes getting sweaty, the heat of Japan’s summer is similar to the weather in Thailand. Minhwan’s favorite season is winter (as we already know, he likes snow!) and the rest, autumn.
Jaejin: I like Aki. (Aki = Autumn in Japanese)
Hongki: Akihabara!
When asked for the most unsummer boy, the group pointed to Seunghyun and Jaejin.
Hongki: Seunghyun and Jaejin! During summer, we only wear a piece of clothing (i.e no layering), and because they’re so skinny, they don’t look good!
Seunghyun, Jaejin: It’s ok! Because we’re taller than Hongki!
Hongki: It’s just 0.5cm!! Zero point five cm!! Just 0.5cm!!! Only 0.5cm….. =(
In Japan, Kakigori (Japanese shaved ice) is very popular in summer, so the host asked if the boys have tried it. They answered no, and went on to introduce Patbingsu (Korean shaved ice).
Hongki: You have the shaved ice at the bottom. On top of that, it’s red bean. On top of that, it’s ice-cream. On top of that, it’s syrup. On top of that, it’s the spoon. On top of that, it’s the mouth.
The members then talked about their favorite syrup topping.
Hongki: Ichigo! (Ichigo = Strawberry in Japanese)
Jonghun: Green tea.

The event ended off with a draw. Each member had two autographed Brand-new days uchiwas (Japanese fan) to be given out. At the end, one last final lucky fan (a Jaejin fan) was also picked to take an instant polaroid with all five members.
And that marked the end of the Shinjuku in-store event, as well as the activities scheduled for Tokyo.
FT Island will be leaving for Nagoya on Sunday. The upcoming ten days will be very busy for the band with 4 live gigs and 5 in-store events scheduled.
